Inaugural post!

I've always been one of those people who is really into television. And when I say I'm into television, I mean I am really really into it. My DVR is 96% full, I skipped a last-day-of-senior-year sleepover to watch the Lost finale, and I can recite all major scenes that took place in Veronica Mars' three glorious seasons (Epic LoVe, anyone?!). Somewhere between finally catching on to The O.C. (three years too late) and wallpapering my bedroom with ads for Chuck and Party Down, I discovered television critic/reporter Michael Ausiello. I began listening to the TV Guide podcast at age thirteen, and have followed Mr. Ausiello ever since, from TV Guide podcasts and "The Ausiello Report" to his current work on "The Ausiello Files" for EW.com. His tweets are sent to my phone, I have a link to his page on my favorites toolbar, and I quote him to my friends on a regular basis. He is a major Veronica Mars advocate, a huge fan of Chuck, and hates One Tree Hill - so basically, he's the male, 35-year-old version of me. He was the inspiration for me to start up my own blog and share with the world my opinions on casting, reviews of episodes, ideas/dream scenarios for future plots & more. I plan to write about the industry as well as reviewing show episodes and spotlighting programs I want to get more people into. In case you haven't realized at this point, Veronica Marsis my favorite show of all time. I'm still heated about its appalling cancellation (05.17.07) and confused as to why nonsense like the Melrose Place reboot seems like a good idea when a critically revered, perfectly written/acted/directed show can't get one last season, even a 13-ep order for a little closure. My goal with this blog is to prevent the other shows I love from succumbing to this fate.
